The "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Mask

Going to Godmother T's house always provides cultural strengthening and every piece of art tells me a story.....
This mask spoke to me in its gesture of silence.....

What's your first impression?
one could easily say "shhhh" and call it a day....

But there's always more..
always more than one meaning if you give enough thought....

the subject could be looking upward in thought...
in a moment of wonder, in he middle of a ponder...

she could be a warning beacon...
causing one to slow down and tread lightly...

or, he could be holding that flash of wisdom...
the one you've been waiting to hear...
but maybe you didn't know it

or it could be that siren in your 60s psychodelic poster ...
luring you in...
whispering to and through your intoxication...

point by point ...

it's what you put into it.....

DON'T LOSE YOUR IMAGINATION

**Thank you Godmother T!**

Oceanside Dedications

One of my FAVORITE places in LA, well, San Pedro, is Point Fermin park.... stunning ocean views, fresh breezes, tranquility.....

on this visit in particular I happened to run across the next series of photos in which I title them "Oceanside Dedications" ....

statements from the hearts of people to departed loved ones.... poured into my own...
